About us

Let's get sharing.

Training and mentoring the talent of tomorrow, today

Our expert colleagues have more to give than just time or money – their experience is a valuable asset in helping develop the next generation of bright sparks

For instance, we attend lots of local schools and colleges to help conduct mock interviews for students, whether they’re applying to college, university, or for a job or apprenticeship. We also help them with their CVs, and offer tips that can help them overcome anxieties or deal with challenging questions.

We’re often approached by local schools and colleges to run budgeting workshops to help their students manage their day-to-day finances. And we also host bespoke ‘Enterprise Days’ with schools too; the content of these varies depending on the desired outcomes, but often includes the chance to develop problem-solving abilities and polish their presentation skills.

We help out each half term at Manchester Youth Zone, by sponsoring and running a one-day holiday club. The activities on these days can range from trampolining and gardening, to piano lessons and rock wall climbing. Manchester Youth Zone is a vital resource for children and families living in one of the most deprived areas of England – an issue associated with poor educational attainment, future and antisocial or offending behaviour.

“I am very excited to become a patron for our Let’s get sharing pillar under our wider Let’s make it count CSR programme. Early in my career, I was lucky enough to benefit from having a mentor which gave me the confidence to take on challenges and helped me develop as a person. Knowing the importance of such support first hand, I have found that one of the most rewarding parts of my role is to pass on my experiences to help others in the same way that I was helped. I am very much looking forward to working with the Let’s get sharing team to contribute in any way I can.”
