Refer a friend scheme - Terms and conditions
For customers - ‘referrers’ - who want to refer a friend
To benefit from this offer:
- You need to have been a customer of Together with good account conduct and history.
- You must use the link generated by Together and sent specifically to you to refer a friend who then enters into a relevant loan with us.
- You can make referrals acting in a personal (not professional broking) capacity.
- You are capped to a limited number of regulated loan referrals. Should you make a referral for a regulated loan we will advise you on such a cap.
- You must not advise your friend on the merits of any transaction, receive any other consideration for the referral, or become in any way involved in the referred loan itself.
- You cannot share the referral fee with anyone else.
For friends and family members who are referred - ‘friends’
To benefit from this offer, you need to:
- Be a new customer to Together.
- Use the referral unique code to take out a loan with Together.
The relevant payment for the referral
- Once the new loan has been advanced to the friend, we’ll pay £250 into the referrer’s relevant bank account subject to completion of our relevant checks and procedures.
What else you need to know
- We cannot guarantee we will fund any application made by a friend, which will be subject to our usual checks and underwriting procedures.
- Referrers and friends are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon taking part in this referral scheme.
- If we suspect any fraud or breach of the terms and conditions, we can either refuse to make payment or seek repayment of payments already made.
- The offer is subject to change and we can withdraw it without notice at any time. This offer is subject to English law and English court jurisdiction.
- The code generated expires after 6 months of issue.
- We will process personal data provided as part of this Refer‑a‑Friend scheme (including your name, contact details, referral code usage and, for referrers, your bank account details) to operate, validate and administer the scheme. Our lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interests in running the scheme. If a referred friend applies for or takes out a loan with us, their personal data will also be processed in accordance with our Fair Processing Notice for applicants and customers. Website interactions, including use of referral links, are handled in line with our Privacy and Cookie Policy.
- By using a referral code, the referrer will be notified that the referred friend has taken out a loan with us. No other details of the loan will be shared. We will retain information collected for this scheme for as long as necessary to operate the scheme, meet our legal and regulatory requirements, and resolve any queries or disputes arising from it, after which it will be securely deleted in accordance with our retention policy.
