You can get an instant Decision in Principle with our simple online application system, My Broker Venue.

Your DiP will be valid for 60 days; during this time you can complete a full application and send the required documents so we can start to underwrite your case.

Our system will guide you through the process and request all the necessary information as you go along and a soft footprint will be obtained at this stage.

Affordability assessment

We use statistically validated data based on client demographic profiles; it’s a quick and easy method of checking affordability. If your case doesn’t pass on this model, we’ll still look at it based on stated client expenditure.

Credit search is fully populated

We work with credit reference agencies, allowing us to pull real-time credit information into the application. This saves you and your client time and makes the process simple and reliable. You can of course, add additional credit commitments if applicable.

Decision in Principle certificate

If your case is accepted, you can download a certificate at any time; this is available from My Broker Venue.


Tips for getting a Decision in Principle

  • If you add your fees to the loan above the maximum for the plan, and this increases the LTV, you’ll be prompted to requote for a lower amount
  • Make sure you click ‘save’ using the disc icon, this lets you move on to the next stage
  • If you see an exclamation mark, this means you need to complete more information
  • If an application falls outside of our affordability model, you can still continue by filling out a client stated expenditure form. We’ll then look at the information and make a common sense decision
