Richard Rowntree

CEO

Richard Rowntree is Group Chief Executive Officer of Together Financial Services, appointed in December 2024.

With over 30 years in financial services, he has held senior roles at Paragon Banking Group, Bank of Ireland, RBS, Santander, Lloyds TSB, and Halifax. Richard is known for his leadership in the UK mortgage and specialist lending markets and for building inclusive, high-performing teams

He previously chaired the UK Finance Mortgages Product and Service Board and was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in 2023 for his work on socio-economic inclusion. He also served as a Non-Executive Director at Progress Together and advised the City of London Corporation’s Socio-Economic Taskforce.
