Can you introduce yourself?
Hello, I’m Matt Boggan, and I’m a Corporate Relationship Manager, focusing on the Yorkshire and North East regions. I’ve worked for just over 20 years in the banking and finance industry, working for NatWest and spending eight years at Triodos Bank with a focus on Healthcare and Social Housing.
What’s your experience of working at Together?
I have been at Together for just over 18 months now and I enjoy that every day is different. The best part of the job is being out in the market building networks and helping people achieve their ambitions.
Can you talk about a recent case study of a customer you’ve helped?
Recently we helped a mother and her daughter purchase a Tea and Gift shop. We were able to provide them with a commercial term loan, which helped them to achieve their dream. They had previously approached the high street banks but couldn’t get the help they needed.
Tell us about the types of people you can help?
What I love about my job is that it involves helping a variety of people. From property landlords, investors, and businesses looking to raise capital. It’s exciting never knowing what your client is wanting to invest in, I’ve seen everything from breweries to office blocks.
What attracted you to working at Together and in particular financial services?
In my work, I like to make things happen and have the confidence to know that where I work we will be able to help that client get what they want. That was the attraction of Together. They had the appetite and I knew that they made things happen for people.
What’s key to building (and maintaining) strong relationships with clients?
Trust, honesty and doing what we will say we are going to do. That’s what my clients value. Being on hand I believe is important and communicating on a regular basis.

What motivates you?
My little boy Harry, every day (and Mrs of course).
What does a typical week look like?
There isn’t a typical week, but I try and be out more than I am in….but that isn’t always possible!
