Changing your payment details

How can I change my bank details / Re-start a cancelled Direct Debit instruction?

Please call us and we can set up or amend your Direct Debit in a matter of minutes.


• Personal customers: 0333 920 2369. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
• Commercial customers: 0371 705 1309. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

New Direct Debit instructions take 10 working days to set up, from the date we receive them.


If you have a payment due in the meantime, you'll need to make a manual payment (by card, for instance) to ensure you don’t fall behind or incur any charges. We'll use your Direct Debit to collect your regular payment starting the following month.

Depending on the date you select and how this relates to your current payment date, you may incur additional interest. We’ll explain your options over the phone before completing the change.

How can I change the amount I'm paying each month?

We may be able to vary your monthly payments if you are struggling to meet your repayments, or if you wish to make a regular overpayment.
