Can a non-UK resident get a UK mortgage?

Yes – absolutely! We provide a range of mortgages for non-UK residents, including foreign nationals based in the UK or overseas and UK expatriates living abroad. We will consider foreign national or expat applications for the following finance products:

  • Commercial bridging loans
  • Buy to Let mortgages (BTL)
  • Homeowner business loans (HOBL)
  • Commercial mortgages
  • Semi commercial mortgages
  • Consumer Buy to Let mortgages (CBTL)*

*Expats only

The following finance products can be considered for foreign nationals if you’re a UK resident, with permanent rights to reside, paid in pounds sterling and have a UK bank account:

  • Personal mortgages (1st and 2nd charge)
  • Personal bridging loans

Anything outside of this would be subject to referral.
