Together's Corporate Team Head to The Commons.
Making finance work for business. That’s what Together’s Corporate Team do. Headed up by Director, Elliot Vure, his nationwide team support property entrepreneurs by opening doors to support their business.
This week the team sponsored a Parliamentary reception at the House of Commons in association with award-winning networking organisation Downtown in Business and both Leeds and Manchester City Councils.
We speak to Elliot to find out more about the event and how Together’s Corporate Team works to help businesses of all scales realise their commercial property ambitions.
Why are you travelling to Parliament this week?
Together’s Corporate Team has sponsored an event with Downtown in Business to talk about the importance of cities as drivers of economic growth. We are looking to create some lively conversation among MPs on the importance of finance for SME developers to kick start regeneration projects, which will deliver life into our high streets. We’ll also discuss how we increase the supply of social and affordable housing via commercial finance.
We’ll be joined by Councillors James Lewis and Bev Craig, leaders of Leeds and Manchester respectively, along with senior parliamentarians from West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester and cabinet and shadow ministers.
Are you frequently involved in events such as this?
Our team frequently networks and discusses issues relevant to the commercial property sector with developers, local authorities, architects and investors. We often attend round tables to discuss market trends, public policy and how we can best support commercial customers and their property ambitions. We’re a team that likes to get close to the problems that our customers face - this helps us with product innovation as well as getting a clearer view on the individual circumstances behind each application that we come across.
What type of customers do you help?
We arrange finance for commercial ventures of all sizes from Buy-to-Let mortgages for smaller residential projects through to bridging and development loans for large commercial investments. We’ve arranged finance on factories, warehouses and luxury hotels, as well as funds for sole traders and start-ups.
As well as almost every type of property, our team can look at opportunities for customers to secure finance against land with or without planning permissions and premises with agricultural restrictions. We can look to support sole businesses to limited companies either buying property for their own business needs or as an investment opportunity.
We can arrange commercial bridging loans as interest only options, enabling customers to keep costs down, and repay in full once further finance is secured.
We look for businesses with an entrepreneurial spirit; those that want to get their exciting ventures off the ground, expand their portfolios, or seize an opportunity to acquire property ahead of the competition. We build relationships with our corporate clients to make sure we can provide the finance needed for them to get the best possible outcomes throughout the life-cycle of their loan with us.
Why do customers come to Together?
Together works in a way that is pretty unique, in that we take the time to understand the customer fully. Whether it’s a Buy-to-Let mortgage, bridging finance, a commercial term or development loan, we’re trusted for both our flexibility and speed of service, ensuring that business owners can capitalise on their opportunity. Getting access to the finance that they need shouldn’t be what holds them back.
